Microsoft Lync Client “Remote code Execution” vulnerability

Ehlo

Microsoft released security Bulletin MS13-041.

According to Microsoft this security update is to fix a vulnerability that COULD allow remote code execution.

The updates are for

OCS clients

Lync 2010 x86

Lync 2010 x64

Lync 2010 Attendee (user side)

Lync 2010 Attendee (Admin installer)

And

Lync 2013

Here you go ladies and Gents administrators of Lync, download , raise your change request and plan for the deployment.

One last thing worth mentioning

If your Lync infrastructure is Lync 2013   you would need to install Lync 2013 CU if you didn’t already install it.

hope you all a good week start 😉

Cheers,

Tohamy
